Bravo. I'm 58, and I'm not sure I guy this "gay brotherhood" stuff, either. Some of my keenest wounds have been from other gay men. The "unity" that comes from having a common enemy, which is what so much of gay activism and its consequent "gay solidarity" seem derived from, is for me no unity at all, because it's rooted in fear.
